  • Transactional & Financial Data: In compliance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and core Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, all financial transaction records, domestic money transfer logs, and utility payment history are securely stored for a mandatory minimum period of 5 (five) years from the date of the transaction.
  • Identity Verification & KYC Records: Merchant onboarding documents, biometric verification receipts (excluding raw biometric data), PAN details, and associated identification records collected during registration will be retained for 5 (five) years following the termination or closure of your Sarva Money agent or distributor account.
  • Operational & Technical Logs: System audit trails, IP address records, and login history used to guarantee application security and fraud prevention are generally retained for up to 1 (one) year, unless an active investigation requires extended storage.

Once the legally mandated retention period expires and the data is no longer required for regulatory compliance or fraud monitoring, Sarva Money employs advanced technical measures to securely delete, purge, or completely anonymize the information so that it can no longer be linked back to any specific individual.
